Shipping Options:
We recommend 3 day Federal Express except Ground carrier for western states.
Allow 4 working days. Federal Express Priority1 day AM service
as well 1 day PM
afternoon, and 2 day service available at extra charge. Consult Fedex direct for approximate rates:

insurance add to the total cost.
US POST OFFICE ($2.00 minimum) - 1st class. Note that USPS
insurance claims take up to 6 months.
EXPORT: We can export most items. Freight charges vary widely.
Easiest is to supply your Federal Express account number. VANTEC
does not quote or pay for tariff and import charges.
Minimum post office shipment
to Canada cost $6.00, other countries $16.
Shipping or freight charges and insurance will be paid by the
customer except when a check or money order accompanies your order, VANTEC pays
shipping and insurance to USA
addresses up to $30.00 and our choice for method. All sales are made FOB our factory.

order for authorized OEM and Dealers. Pre-payment orders discussed on the phone
or FAX are
not entered orders, these orders will be entered upon
receipt of payment. Pre-payment eliminates paperwork for us,
saves loyal customers money and allows us to efficiently schedule work,
so please allow at least 14 days for shipment of pre-paid discount
orders. A pre-paid order of 20 RET512P will net out to the
standard discount for domestic Hobby Dealer or OEM orders. |

| Repairs:
in or out of warranty, and products to be "checked-out" require the full
repair deposit listed above in the price list paid by Check, MO, or
VISA/MC with EXPIRATION date. It is not necessary to obtain a "Return
Materials Authorization" number but often a telephone call to

the time, trouble and expense of an un-needed repair. Send items via insured

For units not abused our one year limited
warranty covers parts and labor for a nominal
charge. Most un-abused units out of warranty may be repaired for the
repair deposit amount. Please indicate associated equipment and
briefly explain problem. We cannot estimate
any repairs site un-seen. Incorrect battery
polarity, submersion, mechanical or electrical modification, "blown"
MOSFETs or unauthorized repairs constitute abuse.
Foreign repairs should be marked "Return to USA factory
for repair"; some countries have a form for this. Inclusion of
original tariff receipt provides additional documentation for
bureaucrats. VANTEC will not pay tariffs for mis-marked incoming
repairs. Further, because VANTEC has no control over foreign
country tariff assessments we cannot be responsible for repair return
tariffs. However, upon repair we will mark item "Customers property
being returned from US factory repair" so the tariff amount should be
based only upon the value of the repair not the full new value. |
